Two friends, two worlds, one shared vision

MARAI is the work of two friends from primary school: Asia and Aga. We shared a desk, school secrets and dreams of the big world. Today, we are separated by kilometers - Asia has been traveling between Warsaw and sunny Spain for years, and Aga stayed in her hometown of Krakow. But what unites us is much stronger: shared memories, longing for the lightness of vacation and the desire to encapsulate emotions in something tangible. This is how the history of the MARAI jewelry brand was born.

Asia, fascinated by the Spanish culture of feasting, leisure and joy of life, often spoke about this freedom. Aga, a communication expert, looked nostalgically at the Krakow sky, longing for warmth and sun. One day, during one of our video calls, MARAI was born.

A wave of memories and a sea of ​​inspiration

"MARAI is an abstract word that for us carries a story about movement, changeability, nostalgia and authenticity at the same time. About memories brought back by the sound of the sea. When creating Marai, we were not looking for a business idea - we were looking for a form of expressing ourselves. From the beginning, we knew that our jewelry should tell stories. It should be like an amulet - a reminder of important moments, women who inspire us, and the strength of relationships that we have built over the years," says Asia. Aga adds: "Our designs grow from inspiration by nature - a wave that gently crashes on the shore, the wind that brings memories of summer, or the horizon line behind which dreams begin. Organic shapes and subtle forms are no coincidence - it is our way of telling a story without words."

From the very beginning, we have made sure that Marai is a responsible brand. Our jewellery is created in Poland – with passion and craftsmanship precision. We use 925 silver in each product, some of them are generously gold-plated, taking care of every stage of production: from design to final packaging.
