Jewelry Trends 2025/2026: What We're Wearing This Year

From minimalism to statement pieces — see what's in fashion (and what's coming) and how to wear jewelry stylishly.

2025 brings a fascinating dichotomy in the world of jewelry. On one side, considered minimalism rules. On the other — bold statement pieces. At MARAI we watch these shifts and create collections that respond to the needs of modern women.

Main jewelry trends for 2025:

Statement Jewelry returns

After several seasons of subtlety, the need for expression is back. Chunky earrings, wide cuffs, large signet rings — not necessarily loud, but visible. Minimalism stays only in form and design — the scale, on the other hand, is decidedly going up.

Conscious Jewelry

In 2025, quality over quantity is what counts. Hand-made, locally produced jewelry is pushing out mass production. Women are choosing consciously — they want to know who's behind the brand, what the product is made of, and whether it was ethically made.

Layering with intention

Wearing necklaces in layers of different lengths and mixing textures (smooth with hammered). Combining gold and silver is no longer a faux pas. Now it's a statement of freedom and individuality.

Return to the classics

Pearls in a modern register, geometric shapes, forms inspired by nature — irregular, soft. Add gold-plated details — but never random. 24K gold and a minimum 1-micron thickness is the new standard. The watchword is elegance without loudness — a statement earring or necklace to lift a look, or to pair with the little black dress in the evening.

Everyday luxury

The line between "for special occasions" and "everyday" is blurring. Interest is growing in precious materials in casual versions: pearls, natural stones, gold — but worn nonchalantly, with jeans and a T-shirt. At the same time we see colourful gemstone jewelry as an accent on classic evening looks — the version for the bold :).

Personal storytelling

Jewelry dedicated to relationships and carrying emotional weight is hugely popular as a gift — friendship rings, talismans, amulets. We're looking for meaning in the details, and we like personalised engravings or charms for the collection.

Trends that are luckily fading:

  • Mass, cheap jewelry

  • Pointlessly oversized scale

  • Imitations of luxury brands

  • Synthetic materials

At MARAI we believe the real trend is authenticity. Our 2025 collection brings together timeless elegance and contemporary awareness — every element has its story and its meaning.
